This was the day we changed the world. The day we showed people the wonders of the human mind and the complexity of emotions. The day we gave children and adults a simple way to talk about their feelings and emotions. We showed that it's okay to be sad, afraid, disgusted, angry, or joyful.
People laughed. People cried. People fell in love with us. People wrote stories about us. We were popular among the public.
Do you think that, as time goes on, people will continue to look back and remember us? That people will still use us as a way to discuss emotions? Or that we may show up again to delight future audiences? Only time will tell.
